I just started to read your book and it's a big pleasure. It makes me glad to see that you found a way to set your experiences into an innocent, humourful and charming speech and so give them expression. Many informations I find that I didn't know before (I was a disciple from 1989 - 1996), and this helps for better understanding.
Thank you very much!

hey,
loved your book!! i devoured it! i joint the cult when i was 19 and left 9 years later leaving all my friends behind... i think your book has helped me realize a few things about why i joined and why i stayed so long. i feel sorry for the 'children' that never got away, they always seemed so torn. best of wishes for all things to come :)

I just finished reading your memoir. Thank you for sharing your story. It was quite eye-opening. I had a hard time putting the down the book. I do hope that you continue to write about your life. I enjoyed your writing style and would read anything else that you would write.

Or she spended time to named parks after S.C., do all the steps to make our city : Sri Chinmoy Peac City, have statues about S.C.. The relationship between us went absolutely wrong.
At home, there were everywhere S.C. placards, huge transcendental pictures. (...)
My mother and dad soon devorced.

Every time she sat at home and translate S.C. poems and books for the local center. She didn't care us anymore, she didn't care about our clothes, about the dishes at home. Every time she organized Joy-Days, Concerts,(...) toadied to famous people to come some kind of S.C. ceremonies, placarded hours at nights. When we got home from school, she always said: Tsssss! I'm translating!!

Dear Jayanti!
Being a S.C disciple was the worst thing, that could happend me. My mother first visited a course of it, when I was 3 jears old (now, I'am 25) and soon after that became a disciple with me and my sister.
In the fist time my Grandparents worried a lot about us, and had a try to save us from this "grup", but my mother alway said "it's just a try" Soon, she gave up her job, and started to become a really fanatic (!) desciple.
