Well done! The courage to integrate the post into your present persona, and tell the story is great triumph!

Your children are the blessed ones, to be raised with your integrity and determination. Bravo!

I really enjoyed your memoir! It is a voice of warning to others to watch for wolves in sheeps clothing like Guru. Thank you so much for writing this honest and insightful book. I hope someday you will write part II of the story - how you healed and moved into the "normal world".

Dear JAYANTI,
Your first daughter was born hours after Guru died. It could be that the Guru has been reborn as your daughter ( Hindus believe in re-birth). Do you believe this? Guru is either after you to 1) take revenge 2) feel remorse and let you control him/her or 3) it is just Karma of his previous birth. Anyway, your book was absorbing, but is sex soooo overpowering than spirituality and all else? What does your husband think about sex before marriage?

I just finished hearing your book from Audible.com. What a heartbreaking story, but a triumphant one as well! Congratulations on your new life.

Jayanti,

I've been studying the psychological pull narcissistic individuals have on others, whether it be in personal relationships or cults. Thank you so much for your revelations. Chinmoy was Goliath to your David. You have proven yourself to be a brave and great soul dedicated to bearing witness, while seeking and achieving your own personal destiny as it should be.

Not looking back I left, never went back. Once I left everyone was told of by betrayal and all were forbidden to talk to me again. I found the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ and my life changed for the best. I now have a family and thank God everyday I left. I can't wait to read your book. Thank you for sharing this with the world.
God bless

Hello Jayanti, Like you grew up on the centre but far from guru in PR, at least most of the time. After many years I moved to NY in 1996 looking for spiritual growth and lived there for 7 years, away from my family and friends. I was not allowed to attend my grandmothers funeral. I took some horrible situations to wake me up and work up the courage to get out. While planning my escape I was followed, questioned and bribed into not leaving.
