Jayanti, I met you back at Kingsborough College. I've thought of you from time to time, because I knew that you had been affiliated with Sri Chinmoy, and I'd wondered whether you'd stuck with the group.

I'm hoping to pick up your book today, and am suggesting it as a selection to the book club I belong to. Congratulations on your marriage, the birth of your daughter, and on the publication of this courageous memoir!

Wow! That Cassandra lady sure sounds angry. Maybe she's in one of those cults herself, who knows?

I love the lessons that I'm getting from your book on how to become a real Guru and/or Avatar of the Age:

When anything goes wrong, by all means, Blame the Disciples!!

Haha! Really great book and thanks for making this major contribution to debunking not only our former Gurudeva, but phony "spiritual" leaders in general.

I was looking forward to going to the reading at East West and then I heard it was cancelled. I was there last night and asked them why it was cancelled. The clerk behind the desk said she didn't know why. She did tell me they had two copies on order for the shelf. I'm really dissapointed they would do that. it's not like they didn't know what the book was about to begin with. Don't worry. You'll have more readers from press and reviews than East West could ever introduce you to.

Hi Jayanti, So far I am enjoying the book.
I'm so sorry you lost your bunny rabbit in such a harsh way. :) I am sure that there are more "serious tragedies" that come later.

I definitely related to the depiction of your Father. He sure does know how to make a buck go a long way (including getting the most use out of his socks, shoes, etc)! A "charming" read.

I hope everyone sends an email to east-west books (see blog section).

Best,
Sam

Are only fawning comments posted to your blog? I wrote a critical one and I don't see it. Are you exercising censorship?
