I came to know your story--and read your book--through a good friend, Ashanta Stagg in San Francisco. It took a lot of courage to reveal the hypocracy of Sri Chinmoy and the unsavory aspects of his cult. You have done, and are doing through your website, a great service to all the people that became enmeshed in this pernicious doctrine. I wish you peace and happiness in your new life.

Jayanti,
Hello, I just finished reading your book (I picked it up randomly out of the new section at the library). It was riveting, so well written that I read it in two days during my 11 month old's naps and after he went to bed. It's the first book I've finished in awhile. Thank you for sharing your story and good luck!

Dear Jayanti,

I read your wonderful book with joy and sorrow. I recognized many of the people and events that you wrote about. I was most struck by the private struggles that no one had an inkling about and thus no way of helping. The silence is the worst of it.

Again, thank you for writing this wonderful book and much love and happiness to you and your family.

A CAXD

Thank you for your "false guru"exposing from the inner Chinmoy circle. Here are some teachers I consider honest:1)Sahaja Yoga.com-Sri Mataji Nirmala Devi of New Delhi composed a kundalini yoga that clears chakras and divine vibrations can be felt on the body,esp.hands.2)6th Patriarch Zen Center-"Sun Do"-ancient Tao breathing excercizes and Rinzai Zen.3)Yang Family.Com-Tai Chi-truely an awakening to be with this teacher. After seeing you speak at Nassau CC, I bought your book and finally finished it. Since your presentation was seemingly so complete, I didn't know what more to expect from the book. However, the pain and confusion that you must have felt was palpable. I applaud your strength to tell your story and wish you continued happiness.

Jayanti,

I truly appreciate the most recent blog entries by you and Mala. I think they provide extremely important perspective on the experience and outlook of the young women CKG took advantage of. Thanks for your continued courage (and Mala's) in making sure that the truth is heard.

best,

Dave
